The position of Regional Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and sales support for the Retail Accounts, Insurance Sales Team. You will assist this team in business development and achieving their sales targets and will therefore be required to develop a thorough understanding of the sales needs of the team and firms they support. The position will require occasional travel for training/meetings and the execution of events.

**Job Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal, time management and priority setting skills in order to meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to multi-task, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
- Good judgment in assessing requests and the ability to act on issues and handle situations as the need arises
- Strong interpersonal, professional and diplomacy skills with a high comfort level in dealing with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and business writing skills
- Ability to prepare and understand reports, and identify discrepancies in reporting
- Able to exercise discretion and tact in situations involving sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI and Sales Force
- Post-secondary degree and/or the equivalent combination of education/experience
- Financial services experience is a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Administrative Duties**
- Support Regional VP with calendar, reporting, travel and expense needs
- Process invoices, cheque requests etc., track and reconcile budgets and required reporting
- Handle volumes, order and distribute promotional items as required
- Onboard and off board of staff including tech set up, assessing needs and ordering of materials, tracking shipment, returns, etc
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier needs
- Prepare reports, printing and any material required for meetings
- Coordinate travel for team as requested
- Complete recognition mailings, advisor communication
- Maintain and update information on Salesforce as required
- Coordinate the submission and completion of presentations for Continuing Education accreditation
- Manage supplies for office, cleanliness and general condition including meeting preparation and clean up as required

**Sales and Marketing Support**
- Support, report and track promotional campaigns
- Create mailing groups ( i.e.: in Genius) that target market segments to expose and promote Manulife
- Quarterback WebEx training sessions
- Prepare and send all Welcome kits where applicable
- Act as support and liaison to head office as required (exceptional circumstances)

**Reporting**
- Coordinate distribution of reports
- Run and request ad hoc reports from Salesforce for the team
- Act as liaison for reporting with Analytics team
- Manipulating data and reports as required
- General reporting needs as required

**Advisor Meetings/Events**
- Source and plan meeting venues and handle all logistics
- Confirm presentations and bookings as required
- Handle follow up requests and coordinate with wholesalers
- On site coordinator for events as needed
- Coordinate and monitor prompt distribution of marketing materials and sales aids as requested by sales team
- Build, distribute and manage all invitations to meeting and events
- Assist in planning and organizing business promotional activities such as entertainment and dinner events
- Handle all catering and meal requirements, hotels and logistics required

**Key Challenges**:

- Prioritizing workload in working for multiple wholesalers. It is essential to be able to assess the request and prioritize relative to other results, as well as finding solutions in an independent environment.
- Working across the Business Units and external interfaces with a variety of people including Principals, Advisors, Life Specialists and their EAs. Frequent co-ordination with Regional sales teams, head office management, advisors and their teams required and appropriate judgments to be made quickly regarding meetings, reports, responding to queries, etc.
