**Role**

Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Environment and Protected Areas, the Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic & Integrated Services Division will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the delivery of operational services, corporate performance and governance, engagement and Indigenous initiatives as well as intergovernmental relations, across the Department.

Your strategic leadership and direction will be necessary to ensure that occupational health and safety implementation, business and operational planning, business continuity planning, Indigenous initiatives, stakeholder engagement, policy coordination are integrated across divisions. With your seasoned talent, you are able to work with cross-ministry spatial geographic information services, logístical services, agency governance, and build relationships with domestic, national and international partners.

**Qualifications**

As an influential and highly credible leader, your career will include extensive related executive management experience. You have demonstrated strengths in leading operational and corporate services, policy, and business planning. You have demonstrated consistent ability in developing stakeholder relationships with industry and Indigenous communities, leading complex projects and working collaboratively with stakeholders. You are recognized for delivering positive results with your teams and diverse stakeholder groups. Strong systems-thinking, project management, proven consultation and negotiation abilities, combined with a high degree of political acumen is required. Experience in intergovernmental relations is preferred. A related degree is preferred.

**Salary**

$6,216.88 - 8,158.94 bi-weekly ($162,260 - $212,948 annually)
