**ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATION CLERK**

**The Role**:
**In This Role, You Will**:

- Process accounts payable invoices and associated payments either electronically or by cheque.
- Ensure that the purchasing process is followed and that the associated coding is accurate.
- As requested, provide accurate and detailed reports.
- Maintain utility and telecommunications database for open and closed houses.
- Liaise with vendors regarding opening and closing of accounts.
- Liaise with vendors regarding payments, invoices and PO issues.
- Assist with process enhancement and documentation.
- Assist all members of the team in times of heavy volume or special “one-off” projects.
- Backup for reception coverage along with other administrative duties as required.
- Other duties as required.

**What You Bring**:

- Accounting Diploma or degree is an asset.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with online banking is an asset.
- Consistently produces accurate, high quality work.
- Experience with Yardi or Mark Systems/ECI accounting softwares are an asset.
- Experience in real estate, property management or land development environment is an asset.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong problem solving/ analytical skills and work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a group setting as needed.
- Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
