SLACAN Industries Inc. is Canada's largest designer and manufacturer of Pole line Hardware, which includes a full line of Transmission and Distribution products. We service the OEM market including the agricultural, mining and other industries. Our in-house processes include forgings, hot / cold stampings and weldments.
**Our Company is currently looking for a Bilingual Sales Coordinator to join our team**

**Position Overview**
This position will coordinate all quotations in the developing of existing and potential accounts and projects in conjunction with engineering, purchasing and other departments.
To provide thorough cost preparation of all bids, quote requests and RFQ’s for the utilities market.
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Postsecondary Education in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
- Must have good English/French oral and written skills
- Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability and motivation to handle difficult and challenging customer situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain customer relationships
- Must be organized, efficient, accurate and possess the ability to prioritize and work under critical deadlines.
- Ability to recognize and identify price/cost inconsistencies, make corrections as needed.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
- MS Excel skills: Lookup functions, pivot tables and managing large spreadsheets.
- Customer focused, self-motivated, multi-tasked and a team player are attributes
- Data and order entry, as required
**Responsibilities**
- Ability to learn product lines, manufacturing capabilities, internal processes etc.
- Support in managing customer feedback and resolve discrepancies, quotations, project timing and other related customer issues.
- Represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets within assigned business accounts by developing and maintaining relationships.
- Plan, implement and oversee all activities related to quotations process including the preparation and coordination of Request for Quotations (RFQ’s) for materials, components, subassemblies and/or services.
- Review, analyze and submit for approval quotations for content and oversee the preparation of complete cost analysis.
- Keep clear and accurate records of all quotations and customer documentation.
- Responsible for data inputs that drive metrics, such as quote tracking log etc.
- Coordinates and collects all final quotations components (final pricing, costed BOMs, tests requirements, logistics, NREs, assumptions etc.)
- Update specialty price list prices as directed by management and publish to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
