**About the position**:
Maropost is currently looking for a **Business Development Manager** responsible for driving business growth and helping shape the company’s long-term strategic direction. You will lead a team of BDRs and be responsible for attracted new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound channels. This role reports into the Chief Marketing Officer.

**What you'll be responsible for**:
Build and coach a team of BDRs
- Manage and mentor a global team of BDRs
- Ensure the team hits quota and achieves KPIs every month
- Develop a deep understanding of Maropost’s products and target personas and keep your team educated as the product evolves
- Conduct your own outreach and interact directly with your own target prospects

Create outreach campaigns
- Build a campaign plan to predictably generate new opportunities across target markets
- Work closely with the Content and Events teams to identify high-value outreach opportunities
- Create engagement with known prospects and current customers, as well as new leads
- Get creative, develop compelling pitches, and get prospects excited about Maropost early in the sales cycle

Equip the team for speed and scale
- Live and breathe metrics, test everything, and constantly iterate
- Build process to create scale and efficiency while maintaining a high-degree of personalization in outreach
- Work with the RevOps team to ensure there is full funnel visibility and that contact and account data is managed efficiently
- Manage the business development tech stack and ensure all reps are using it to as effectively as possible
- Create and maintain a Business Development ‘Playbook’, outreach templates, and campaign assets for each segment

**What you'll need to bring to Maropost**
- 5+ years of Business Development/Sales experience, ideally at a SaaS company
- 2+ years managing a team of business development reps
- Strong written and oral communicator with experience writing outreach templates and creating/delivering presentations
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other outreach tools (i.e. Gong, Hubspot,6Sense)
- Data-driven leader with experience hitting targets month-over-month
- Highly organized, detail orientated, able to manage workflow in an efficient and effective manner
- Strong team building and leadership skills
