The **Payroll & Benefits Administrator** executes payroll processing and submission responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Collaborating with department managers and employees to help ensure accurate HR, safety, and payroll data is maintained and kept up to date.

Job Duties:

- Completion of timely and accurate payroll processes, in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Monitor, in accordance with company guidelines, the implementation, updating, reviewing and auditing of the health and safety program and systems.
- Administration of employee benefits programs.
- Maintenance of all employment-related records.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger accounts.
- Understand and keep abreast of payroll regulations, i.e. statutory deductions, T4 processing, employment standards, etc.
- Work with other team members and departments to coordinate payroll information.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 3 year’s relevant experience
- A certificate or diploma in Payroll Admin preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Payroll experience with varied remuneration types and schedules
- Qualified Safety Representative or safety training an asset
- Flexibility to work overtime hours on the first and second business days of each month, to complete month-end process
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company and employee financial and personal information
- CDK Experience an asset
- Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
