Key responsibilities essential to this position include:

- Ensure accuracy of financial information through accurate data entry, processing of invoices, authorization of payments and posting of accruals and adjustments
- Basic Employee Payroll (Timesheets, CRA Tax Deduction, maintaining payroll deductions to be submitted to CRA)
- Manage accounting and data entry into Lone Wolf and Quick Books systems
- Manage the administration of our paperless system Skyslope
- Calculate and process agent payouts
- GST Remittance
- Review invoices and code to appropriate expense account
- Manage operational data and maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance of all accounting and financial code/regulatory requirements
- Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up/maintaining internal control systems and adopt proper policies for financial reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations and analysis
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements
- Prepare and process cheque run and prepare electronic payments
- Keep all accounting and office related files organized in a systematic manner
- Work closely with and serve as the main administrative support for the Managing Partner and Operations Manager
- Perform data entry and other administrative duties as assigned
- Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years accounting experience in a similar role
- preferably in Real Estate
- Experience with month-end, year-end closing processes is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft software (particularly Excel) and accounting software (Quick Books, Lone Wolf)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational, technical, time management skills, flexibility and attention to detail are required
- Positive attitude and excellent ability to work independently and within a team
