The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the city’s 163 Community Leagues. Our mission is to engage, develop and connect Edmonton Community Leagues as they build healthy neighbourhoods.

**Position Summary**:
**Duties and responsibilities**

**Relationship Management**
- Creating stronger connections between the EFCL and individual Leagues.
- Enhancing connections between District Directors and the Leagues that they represent.
- Facilitating stronger connections between Community Leagues.
- Work with the Neighbourhood Resource Coordinator team to maintain a strong League support network.

**League Support**
- Creating awareness of EFCL services, resources, and supports.
- Gaining stronger understanding of the support needs of Community Leagues.
- Understanding the strengths that League members bring to the Community League movement.
- Provide training and 1-on-1 support to Leagues and Districts regarding effective community engagement
- Provide support to the EFCL Community Planning and Sustainability Working Group, EFCL Board of Directors and Community Leagues, keeping them informed on issues that have implications for a majority of Leagues and their neighbourhoods.

**Resource Development**
- Creating and maintaining a set of resources on effective community engagement.
- Tracking and addressing gaps in resources for Community Leagues.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Education, training or related experience in community development and community engagement.
- Professional experience working in community development and engagement.
- Group facilitation, mentoring, community engagement and coaching skills
- Professional experience working with ABCD principles
- Experience working with Community Leagues is considered an asset
- Education or training in urban planning is considered an asset

**Working Environment**: This position works a 30-37.5 hour work week. Your regular schedule will be a four day work week (Monday to Thursday/Tuesday to Friday), rotating every six months. In order to meet the needs of the organization, some evening and weekend work will be required at times. The EFCL is a hybrid working environment where we have a blended model of working from home and the office.

**Benefits**: Following a probation period of three months, the successful applicant will qualify for EFCL benefits and retirement plans.

Pay: $62,864.00-$67,400.00 per year
