**Live-In Treatment Program Coordinator (Secure Treatment Program)**

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
1. Responsible for the management, direction, supervision, training, mentorship, evaluation and development of youth counselling staff.

2. Responsible for the implementation of treatment and planning for clients, as follows:

- Participates in the Internal Case Conferences to discuss client admission requests
- Ensures that each client and family is provided with an orientation to the program on admission
- Ensures the establishment and maintenance of therapeutic relationships between staff and clients
- Participates with clinical staff in the design and implementation of support programmes
- Ensures satisfactory liaison with families, community schools and agencies
- Implements Plans of Care
- Ensures evidence-informed mental health approaches are known and applied by youth counselling staff as per Plans of Care.
- Responsible for the case management for all clients within the program.

3. Administratively responsible for the following:

- Compliance with Ministry legislation and RSC policies
- Monitors program budget expenditures
- Staff scheduling (according to the Centre staffing model) as needed
- Program Specific Staff orientation

4. Provides On-Call services as established by the Centre.

**QUALIFICATION CRITERIA**:
1. CAAT diploma, or university degree applicable to the human service field, with the equivalent of five years' experience as a full time treatment/direct care worker primarily in a live-in modality.

2. Broad knowledge of youth counselling and demonstrated superior performance in many of the following:

- program planning and implementation
- working with community resources (educational, recreational, social)
- organizational skills with an aptitude for leadership, problem solving and decision making
- ability to multi-task in a busy environment

3. Coordinator or management experience, including mentoring, is strongly encouraged.

4. Fully bilingual in both official languages an asset.

**Coordonnateur(trice) de programme (Programme de traitement en milieu fermé)**

**PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITES**:
1. Assume la gestion, la direction, la supervision, la formation, mentorat, revaluation et Ie developpement des educateurs(trices) specialises(es).

2. Responsable de la realisation du traitement et de la planification des services aux clients
- Participe dans les conference de cas a I'interne pour discuter les demandes d'admission;
- s'assure que chaque client et leur famille sont guides lors de I'entree dans Ie programme;
- s'assure de la mise en place et la continuite de relations therapeutique entre les employes et les clients;
- contribue, avec Ie personnel clinique, a la conception et a la mise en oeuvre de programmes de soutien;
- s'assure que les relations avec les families, les ecoles de la communaute et les agences soient satisfaisantes;
- met en oeuvre les plans desoin.
- s'assure que les nouvelles approches novatrices relatives pour les soins de sante mentale sont connues et implimenter par les employes.
- Responsable de la gestion de cas de tous les clients qui participent a la programme.

3. Responsable sur Ie plan administratif de:

- respecter les regles CRS et politiques ministerielles;
- surveiller les depenses budgetaires de son programme;
- planifier I'horaire de travail des employes (selon Ie modele de dotation du Centre);
- orienter Ie personnel (propre a son programme);
4. Fournir des services de resolution des crises selon les besoins.
