We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, highly organized, Administrative Assistants to support managers in the various Directorate’s of the Senate of Canada as positions become available.

To succeed in this role, you must communicate effectively with others, demonstrate a high level of autonomy, show high effectiveness in managing a variety of tasks and be a good team player.

The public to staff Indeterminate and determinate, Full Time positions within the Senate of Canada administration directorates.

Prerequisites
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience;
- At least two (2) years of experience providing administrative services in an office environment;
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products;
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational skills to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Completed post-secondary education in a field related to the duties of the position;
- Experience researching, extracting, and compiling information from various sources;
- Experience in the preparation of correspondence and reports;
- Experience arranging work-related travel;
- Experience in maintaining and sorting an e-document filing system;
- Experience providing administrative support services to management, such as monitoring and managing their electronic inbox and managing their calendar.
