**Master Data Specialist**

**Summary**

Master Data Specialist manages the set up and maintenance of all Master Data in SAP to support all business processes. It is a centralized function responsible for the accuracy of the data assets. As a Master Data Specialist, you will be providing prompt data management support to various areas of the business. Relevant systems and processes include, but are not limited to, SAP system.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Thorough understanding of system structure, fields, and inter-dependability to ensure 100% accuracy on the creation of all new items.
- This position will work closely with several departments all over FGF and everyday users of these systems to execute data creation and maintenance processes to meet the expected service and quality levels.
- Set-up new SKUs, Bill of Materials & Routings, set up Business Partners (i.e. customers, suppliers, etc.) following the established processes.
- Review and assess the impact of submitted changes to ensure that all requests are clear and accurate.
- Maintain all parameters associated with a SKU during its lifecycle.
- Understand the impacts this role carries regarding accuracy of the data entered into the system.

**Required Experience**
- Post-secondary degree and/or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management or IT
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably Supply Chain) or Management Consulting for manufacturing organizations.
- Detail oriented, ability to maintain 100% accuracy while handling large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
- Excellent computer skills (Excel and Outlook);
- Experience working within SAP strongly preferred.
