**MASTER DATA CONTROL MANAGER - TORONTO, ON (HYBRID)**

Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Insights, the Master Data Control Manager is responsible for the control, analysis and reporting of West Fraser’s Sales and Marketing Master Data across all our business lines. This individual will utilize expert knowledge to promote consistency, quality, integrity and accessibility of shared data and information across North America, while simultaneously building best in class processes to guarantee that appropriate data integrity and master data control are attained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Sales and Marketing MDM team and lead, develop, and motivate a highly talented group of master data analysts.
- Establish and foster a data management culture that captures and respects all stakeholders.
- Identify and assess data management control issues and develop initiatives, processes, and tools to resolve them.
- Create Master Data Control processes to centralize the control of all Sales and Marketing master data for North America.
- Establish, implement, and document governance processes and policies for managing data.
- Manage the cleanup of existing Sales and Marketing Master Data.
- Manage the New Product Request (NPR) and New Customer/Ship-To request SharePoint and processes, including acting as gatekeeper to ensure consistency and cross-functional alignment.
- Provide Master Data expertise to the ERP Order to Cash upgrade project and act as SME/key point of contact for all master data related questions.
- Identify, analyze, report, and resolve data quality issues related to integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness to support business reporting requirements.
- Develop reporting KPIs to measure compliance and attainment of data quality goals.
- Continually work to improve the quality of West Fraser’s reporting and analytics processes.
- Project manage and/or support analytics initiatives and provide guidance on data related topics (e.g., data dictionary, documentation etc.).
- A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or other relevant area preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in Master Data control.
- Related experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong technical acumen of systems is a must, with practical knowledge of ERP systems -JDE preferred.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in managing and motivating a team.
- Project management experience considered an asset.
- Ability to travel within North America: 10% travel may be required.
