We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our **Supply Chain Master Data Specialis**t**.**
**Position Summary/Objective**:
The Supply Chain Master Data Specialist is responsible for owning and maintaining exceptional master data records regarding the supply chain departments, while devising measures to enhance the quality of this data.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Act as the liaison between Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Customer Service teams and lead the master data requirements, technical configuration, and administration task for SAP (PP).
- Own and maintain sets of supply chain master data offline and online (SAP).
- Create and accurately maintain in SAP (PP); routings, machine capacity, work-centers, production calendars and any other manufacturing related data required to drive accurate production planning, scheduling, and capacity evaluation.
- As a member of the Data Council, develop and maintain domain data standards and policies to ensure data consistency across the organization.
- Identify discrepancies and data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness and resolve any data-related issues.
- Analyze complex data sets and provide insights and recommendations to improve data quality and integrity.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and metrics related to master data, and oversee ongoing data governance efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in master data management, and recommend changes to the Central Data Council to improve organizational performance.
- Perform gap analysis, and identification of any areas for improvement within existing procedures, methods, and business processes.
- Participate in the development review and design sessions as well as end to end unit testing to support technical projects to ensure alignment between the requirements and solution.
- Encourage the adoption of best practices within a complex stakeholder setting.
**Education & Qualifications**
- BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics and/or other relevant degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with SAP (MM and PP modules), Master Data and analyzing data (SAP IBP a plus).
- SAP certification in PP is considered an asset.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, reference formulas.
- Creative problem solving to business issues and is motivated by seeking process improvement.

- Proven attention to detail when maintaining data & feeling responsible for high quality data.
