**Job purpose**

As an Account Executive for our Senior Living & Restaurant market, your primary responsibility is to foster and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions to address them effectively. Your role involves managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to meet client requirements and achieve revenue targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, along with a proactive and results-driven approach to sales.

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Accounts & Project Management**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with medium to large accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic business initiatives.
- Lead and manage customer projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with Sales Director, Account Manager and Sales Development Rep to develop strategic account plans and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Conduct regular meetings and communication sessions with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide updates on project status.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within existing accounts.

**Tradeshows & Sales Visits**:

- Represent the company at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events within the region to promote products/services and generate leads.
- Conduct sales visits to existing and potential clients to build relationships, identify opportunities and secure new business.

**Sales Support**:

- Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with sales representative to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions that meet client requirements and objectives.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and renewals.

**Account Planning & Strategy**:

- Develop account plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase profitability, and foster long-term client loyalty.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for differentiation within assigned accounts.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and value propositions that address client needs and objectives.

**Forecasting & Reporting**:

- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and client satisfaction scores.
- Generate regular sales reports and analysis for management, highlighting account performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven analysis and market intelligence.

**General Expectations**:

- Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies to provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
- Ensure all training and safety requirements are followed and deadlines are met consistently.

**Qualifications**

The following are qualifications that are necessary for a person to be considered for this position:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, considered and asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in account management, B2B sales or business development role. Sales experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to navigate information and data to make informed business decisions and recommendations (ie. prioritization of accounts, effective allocation of resources against opportunities).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing medium to large sized projects and achieving revenue targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop creative solutions and drive sales growth.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport and be willing and able to travel within Canada and the US.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
