Site Procurement and Digital Specialist

This is a key role based in Unilever’s Ice Cream factory in Canada and provides critical support to the factory teams in procuring supplies in a timely manner. Identifying synergies in the end-to-end procurement process will be an integral part of this role.

**Who You Are & What You’ll Do**

You are a dynamic person with “owner’s mindset”, passion for growth and ability to challenge status-quo. You are digital savvy and will lead projects aimed at improving processes and bringing efficiencies in procurement and digital ways of working. You will be responsible for the following.
- Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with Unilever’s Procure to Pay (P2P) policies and guidelines.
- Onboarding new vendors, create POs, process payments, follow up and resolve all payment related queries/issues with vendors and internal departments.
- Identify and develop a pipeline of alternate or new vendors for better pricing and service levels.
- Ensure all contracts are current, up to date and maintained in a centralized repository.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions in collaboration with respective departmental managers.
- Review end-to-end procurement process including consumption, pricing, ordering frequency and identify savings opportunities and efficiencies.
- Prepare vendor spend report (MS Excel, PowerBI) and publish to all stakeholders.
- Monthly review of all payments for goods and services, identify outstanding/missing payments for timely resolution and appropriate accrual. Process all third party cheques for timely deposit in Unilever bank account, record and report all cheque payments.
- Review current processes and identify opportunities for automating/digitizing existing workflows.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, activities as and when required.

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
- Required: University degree
- Required: Minimum 2 years of direct procurement experience
- Required: Advanced MS Excel, PBI skills, negotiation, analytical, persuasion skills
