Inventory/purchasing Specialist

Scholten's Machinery Inc is a company that has been serving the agricultural market since 2012. We offer various European farm equipment, a wide inventory of PTO parts, hydraulics and Stihl products.
**Job Duties**
- Manage the daily functions of the parts department, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts
- Track and maintain all inventory levels, purchase orders, database maintenance and physical inventory counts
- Work in direct collaboration with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal/external jobs
- Responsible for incoming/outgoing shipments
- Fill customer orders, invoicing, quoting, process payments
- Coordinate a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork
- Manage/Order shop supplies
- Keep parts department organized, clean and safe at all times
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Agricultural background preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience minimum in similar role
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication & motivational skills
- Forklift Driving
- Ability to lift heavy parts
- Computer skills required
- Ability to work under EXTREME pressure and with limited deadlines
- Time Management Skills
- Leadership skills and good team spirit
- Work professionally with all personalities and situations
- Good problem-solving skills
- Highly reliable, organized and self-motivated with a professional attitude
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Wage will depend on experience
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
