The Good News Broadcasting Association of Canada (GNBAC) is the organizational umbrella of **_Back to the Bible Canada_**, **_indoubt_** and **_Laugh Again_** ministries. GNBAC is dedicated to leading people closer in their relationship with Jesus through Bible Teaching and Engagement ministries. Using all forms of media at our disposal we are absolutely committed to faithfully and creatively sharing the Gospel message that empowers Christians spiritual growth and maturity through Bible teaching and engagement.

To further the mission of GNBAC a new full-time Ministry Development and Relations Officer is being sought after. The responsibility of this position is to effectively communicate and represent the mission, vision, and values of GNBAC and its associated ministries with the aim to identify, cultivate and nurture long-term supportive relationships with constituents through personal interaction and participation in special development related ministry activities.

**CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include any and/or all the following**:

- Presentation of mission/vision, core values, ministries, programs, and projects of GNBAC.
- Facilitate authentic, growing ministry relationships with individuals, churches, and organizations.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit financial support by developing and maintaining ministry relationships, facilitate special projects and activities, and carry out fundraising priorities.
- Present partnership opportunities and programs.
- Work with Executive team to determine and implement effective ministry strategies that sustain and grow the organizational mission.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS**
- Ability to personally represent the mission, core values and Statement of Faith for GNBAC, consistent with the ministry culture.
- Able to effectively and with integrity, communicate and present the mission and associated strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
- Effectively sustain and cultivate authentic individual partnership relationships
- Self-motivated and directed
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Basic computer skills

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Identifiable attitude and aptitude to fulfill job description responsibilities with excellence
- Background or formal education in associated areas of responsibility and or direct ministry background would be an asset
- Willingness to participate in formal and informal training opportunities
- Can effectively work in both in-office and remote environments
- Eligible to work in Canada (You are a Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant of Canada, Permanent Canadian Resident or you have a current Work Visa for Canada)

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, the third Person of the Trinity. We believe that He was sent from the Father by the Son to convict the world, to regenerate and indwell those who trust in Christ, to baptize them into the Body of Christ, to seal them for the final day of redemption, to guide them into truth, to fill them for a life of holiness and victory and to empower them for witness and service.
