Labour Market Development is one of four divisions in the Ministry of Post Secondary and Future Skills (PSFS) that strives to enable all British Columbians to reach their full potential. The Division provides leadership on strategic innovative workforce policies, programs, and labour market information to connect industry and the post-secondary education and skills training systems to ensure British Columbians can succeed in a strong, sustainable economy.

The Program Manager develops and manages a portfolio of skills training and employment programs of strategic importance to the Ministry. This includes program design, development, implementation, delivery, evaluation, performance management, and continuous improvement.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field and a minimum of two (2) years of *related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Related experience must include two (2) years experience with each of the following:

- Experience leading and managing contract-related activities for programs and achieving objectives.
- Experience leading the development and implementation of programs delivered by 3rd party contractors/agreements.
- Building and maintaining working relationships with community organizations and/or institutions, Indigenous communities, etc.
- Experience in managing performance and evaluating programs.
- Experience in financial management, managing significant budgets, audits, quality assurance and control plans.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Experience in programs development, implementation, evaluation, and management for employment and/or skills training programs.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities.

PROVISO:

- Travel is a requirement of this position. Must be willing to travel both within and outside of BC.
