Desktop Support Technician

**Role Overview**:
This role involves a consistent weekly schedule and will require proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills to address any IT challenges onsite.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end-user devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
- Assist in configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with remote teams or additional IT support personnel to resolve issues efficiently.
- Document and report service activities performed during each visit.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: 8-10 years in desktop support or a related technical role.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting (basic hands-on support).
- Experience in hardware replacements, device configurations, and software installations.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally in a client-facing environment.
- **Availability**: Must be available for 4-hour shifts every Monday at the specified location.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $4,500.00 per month
