Front Desk Supervisor

**Reporting to**: Front Office Manager (FOM)

Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West is looking for a part time/full time Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. - **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead and oversee the front desk team, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, policies, and ensure a cohesive work environment.
- Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- **Guest Services**:

- Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests upon arrival.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure the resolution of guest issues to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- **Front Desk Operations**:

- Oversee the check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of room inventory, availability, and guest preferences.
- **Revenue Management**:

- Assist in managing room rates, discounts, and promotions to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote special packages and offers.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Prepare and analyze daily reports to track occupancy, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
- Manage cashiering functions, including handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate billing.
- **Compliance and Security**:

- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard guest information and hotel assets.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
