**Financial Coordinator**

**The Opportunity**
Davis Pier is a consulting firm that provides innovative solutions to complex government and social challenges. Our projects include work in a variety of domains, including healthcare, education, employment, social services, regulation, public safety, and leadership development.

We are looking for a Financial Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to our Director of Finance and Administration, this role will be accountable for full cycle accounts payable administration, accounts receivable support and administration, support in the preparation of financial statements and associated metrics, as well as providing assistance around contract administration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable
- Administration and Support of Accounts Receivables functions
- Credit card reconciliations
- Process and reconcile employee expenses
- Track project expenses and budgets
- Support senior team in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
- Project governance and compliance support and contract administration
- Track subcontractor contracts and budgets
- Other finance & administration duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in business or accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial administration
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
- Excellent technological skills including QuickBooks & MS Office Suite
- Willingness to work in person at our office multiple days/week
