Since 1998, LGM has been successfully supplying quality products and leading training solutions to over 1,200 Canadian franchised new car dealerships. Dealer partnerships are complimented with the strong backing and support of their automotive manufacturing brands, which include BMW/MINI, Kia, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover/Range Rover, Mitsubishi Motors, Motorrad and Polestar.
Reporting to the VP, Sales
- West and Prairies, the Regional Account Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining, expanding our dealership network, and achieving SecureDrive sales and revenue targets within the region. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting potential dealerships and dealer groups, to signing agreements and ensuring successful onboarding. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with new and existing dealership clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and addressing any issues that arise. You will work as part of a dynamic team, collaborating closely with the ISS, DDMs and Sales VP to achieve regional sales targets and drive growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
**New Business Development**: Regularly visit dealerships to establish new SecureDrive business relationships, fostering growth opportunities for the company.
**Dealer Group Business Development**: Collaborating closely with our OEM DDMs to enhance the existing OEM relationship and expand the SecureDrive business within the dealer group.
**Relationship Maintenance**: Conduct visits to existing dealerships to nurture and sustain business relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
**Dealership-wide Productivity and Sales Enhancement**: Collaborate with dealerships to improve overall productivity and sales performance, implementing strategies to maximize revenue generation across all departments.
**Dealer Staff Product Training and Support**: Provide dealer staff with comprehensive product training and ongoing support to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement, ultimately driving sales by using the different tools and systems available.
**Distinction Development**: Engage in a Financial Services Analysis to collaborate closely with clients in crafting personalized development plans. These plans are designed to achieve specific objectives, with a focus on monitoring progress and flexibly adapting strategies for optimal success.
**Regular Business Review Management with Key Accounts**: Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, facilitating productive discussions and strategic planning to drive mutual growth and success.
**Team Leadership and Development**: Lead, mentor and evaluate Inside Sales Support Representatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with a goal to grow the resources according to the business needs.
**Required Skills and experience**:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, account management or a related role in the automotive F&I industry
- Experience managing a team.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth- Strong understanding of the automotive dealer network and industry dynamic- Self motivated with a strong drive for results- Ability to analyse market trends to develop effective strategies.- Proficient with MS Office suite of products.
