**Learning & Development Coordinator**
Reporting to the Employee Experience Program Manager, the Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery, coordination, and administration of staff skills training activities. An integral member of the Human Resources team, the Learning & Development Coordinator provides support and assistance to various human resources related activities while contributing to Price’s employee experience.
- Develop and implement specialized training modules for office and manufacturing staff, emphasizing safety on the manufacturing floor to prevent workplace incidents and reduce Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) claims.
- Regularly assess employee learning needs and adapt training programs accordingly.
- Coordinate and lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars, tailoring approaches for different work environments.
- Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and metrics, making necessary adjustments for optimal results.
- Drive participation in learning activities, particularly in manufacturing, by designing engaging initiatives.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to align training with organizational goals and address specific needs.
- Manage resources efficiently for learning and development activities.
- Keep training content current with industry practices and technological advancements.
- Preferably a degree in HR, education, organizational development, or a related field. Proven track record in designing and implementing effective training programs, especially in diverse environments.
- Understanding of how adults learn and how to create engaging training content for different learning styles.
- Experience or understanding of the unique dynamics and needs of both settings. Experience with digital platforms (LMS) for managing and delivering training content. Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficient in communicating complex ideas effectively to diverse groups.
- Passion for the arts and crafts, and have general knowledge of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, tape measures, hand-power drill, etc.
- Able to adjust training methods and content to suit different audiences and changing organizational needs.
- Understands the diverse backgrounds and needs of office and manufacturing employees. Brings creativity to training design and delivery, constantly seeking new and effective ways to engage learners.
- Focused on achieving tangible improvements in employee skills and organizational performance. Works well with others, from executives to front-line employees, fostering a team-oriented approach to learning.
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to the growth and development of employees. Capable of guiding teams and individuals towards achieving their learning goals.
