Job Purpose
The Manager of Corporate Partnerships is essential to advancing Habitat GTA’s mission through strategic engagement with corporate partners. This role exists to cultivate and manage partnerships, foster high-level stewardship of existing relationships, and enhance fundraising and sponsorship initiatives that drive financial support and resources, thereby enhancing the organization's fundraising efforts. By collaborating with the Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Manager ensures a cohesive approach to acquiring new partners and maintaining existing ones, ultimately maximizing the impact of corporate contributions on Habitat GTA’s programs and initiatives.
Job Duties
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity GTA, embodying and promoting the organization’s values and guiding principles.
- Develop, implement, and manage strategies to achieve revenue objectives for corporate and foundation corporate donors and prospects.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate prospects capable of donations or sponsorships exceeding $30K annually to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate prospects to achieve or exceed goals for the Corporate Giving and Team Engagement programs.
- Submit grants and proposals aimed at securing multi-year commitments and donations of $50K or more annually.
- Oversee daily management of corporate and foundation partnerships, including donor relations, fulfillment of agreements, and necessary administrative and marketing activities.
- Utilize prospect and moves management systems to effectively manage and build meaningful relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Develop strategies for upgrading corporate donors and increasing donor retention through stewardship, annual reporting, acknowledgment, and recognition.
- Secure minimum donations for corporate team engagement days and provide relevant information to prospects and the corporate development team.
- Collaborate with the Director of Corporate Partnerships and senior management to develop a robust pipeline of corporate and foundation donors.
- Meet and strive to exceed revenue targets, regularly reporting on progress against annual goals.
- Track partner and prospect actions in the Raiser’s Edge database to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective relationship management.
- Maximize or modify programs based on data-driven insights, qualitative feedback, and industry best practices.
- Proactively work with internal stakeholders (Fund Development, Real Estate & Land, Construction, Marketing & Communications, Volunteer Services, Family Partnerships, and Finance) to maximize development opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the MARCOMM team to implement partner benefit deliverables, including marketing materials, promotional activities, website exposure, signage, and social media recognition.
- Work with volunteers as needed to support corporate partnership initiatives.
- Learn and actively participate in the Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance and safety in all activities.
- Adapt and amend responsibilities as necessary to align with evolving organizational needs and priorities

- A bachelor’s degree or certificate, with a focus in fundraising, sales or marketing, or other applicable disciplines
- A minimum of four (4) plus years relevant experience in corporate fundraising and/or B2B business development combined with a proven track record exceeding revenue targets
