**Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development**

(1 year Contract)

United Way Greater Toronto is looking for an experienced, motivated, and collaborative, Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development, to join our team at our Toronto office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development is responsible for actively engaging in the acquisition of new corporate partnerships, with a focus on expanding United Way Greater Toronto’s corporate donor base, with a focus on underrepresented sectors and geographies within the GTA.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and solicit new revenue opportunities through organizations that have a footprint in the GTA
- Proposal Development and Presentation:

- Work with Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop customized partnership packages that meet the specific needs and interests of prospective partners.
- Present partnership opportunities to senior executives and decision-makers, effectively communicating UWGT’s mission and impact.
- Negotiate and Secure New Partnerships, working closely with Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development
- Relationship Management as assigned, including:

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of partnership agreements.
- Ensure ongoing engagement and fundraising success.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Collaboration with internal teams, including:

- Identifying opportunities for growth with existing partners. Working with Individual Donor Relations team to identify opportunities for new corporate partnerships.
- Work as part of the Corporate Partnerships team to work towards strategic goals of the department.
- Provide support to New Business Circle leadership volunteers and staff partners.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives to support broader organizational objectives.
- Ensure that accurate, up-to-date information is maintained in the database for assigned portfolio.
- Participate as a member of the staff team in regular departmental and inter-departmental activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- 3-5 years of experience in fundraising or sales, preferably with a focus in corporate fundraising.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead sales pitches to build mutually-beneficial partnerships.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage constituent relationships.
- Experience delivering presentations, speeches and training sessions
- Project management and/or sales and marketing experience
- Ability to gather and analyse information needed for problem solving and decision making
- Ability to coordinate and develop projects, including working with outside volunteers
- Proven organizational abilities and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Willingness to actively contribute to the organizational equity framework through participation in learning opportunities and implementing anti-oppressive, and anti-racist learnings into action internally and externally
- Proven ability to take initiative and carry projects to completion with minimum supervision
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and constituent service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse employee population and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work with numbers and proven track record of accuracy
- Experience working with virtual video conferencing tools, Microsoft Office, online fundraising platforms and CRM databases (preferably Salesforce).
- Ability to travel across the Greater Toronto region
- Some outside of regular hours required including early morning or late meetings and some weekends
