**Job Overview**:

- Reporting to the IT Director, Network Administrator will provide 1, 2 & 3 level support.
- Salary commensurate with skills/experience;
- MUST HAVE FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH VMware *

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Systems Administrator duties include**:

- Managing multiple networks and security infrastructure of the business environment
- Setup/Management of Active Directory components
- Work within a Virtualized Blade/SAN environmentManage security systems
- Install, configure, administer, optimize, maintain and update client environments according to prescribed best practices.
- Maintain documentation of client systems, including all changes made.

**Helpdesk duties include**:

- Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of end user systems
- Assist in maintaining backups, systems and upgrading of service packs
- Maintain office hardware and user support including printers, faxes, copiers, telephone systems and all peripherals
- Interface between internal teams and the development team
- Troubleshoot and resolve or escalate system issues according to set guidelines.
- Provide Level 1/ 2 / 3 Technical Support for client issues.
- Cabling knowledge an asset

**The Infrastructure environment consists of**:

- Nortel (Meridian Mail) Phone system
- VMware ESXSQL Blackberry Handhelds and Enterprise S Various Security Systems
- HP switching architecture/Blade and SAN
- Participate in the design and implementation of IT projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in as a IT helpdesk Systems Administrator role
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing LAN / WANStrong knowledge of: All Windows Servers s (Service Packs, Base System Installations and Troubleshooting)
- All Exchange Servers, WSUS and Patch Management, Windows Active Directory and Group Policy design and configuration, including Printer and Drive Mapping settings
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems & Office Productivity Applications
- Experience with TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switching, Routing and VM Ware ESX 4 & upDemonstrated knowledge of Group Policy Demonstrated ability configuring and setting up remote users (VPN)Excellent understanding of routing protocols, wiring, and wireless networks
- Must be highly-motivated, have excellent reasoning skills and be detail-orientated.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments, and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in cabling/audio visual equipment network management and monitoring software

**This experience below is an asset**:

- Strong understanding of networking concepts
- Experience with 802.1x, penetration testing and print serversFamiliar with Backup and Restore procedures & DR SetupsBlade and SAN environment
- Working knowledge of Nortel PBX/Meridian systems
- Working knowledge with security systems, Firewall-Imperva, Qualys & Jatheon

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
