Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Montreal or Toronto. The VP Corporate Accounts will manage a team of corporate account executives while driving topline revenue and profitability across Canada. They will drive effective execution of marketing, sales, procurement, operations, and sales support strategies to ensure alignment with Imperial Dade Canada and regional objectives and achieve customer growth in assigned markets.

**Responsibilities**:
Driving Business Strategies:

- Collaborate with the President and the different leaders to gain alignment on plans for tactical execution of Imperial Dade Canada strategies and initiatives.
- Responsible for effective communication of business priorities, strategy objectives and deliverables to the corporate account team.
- Drive effective change management to accelerate the execution of Imperial Dade Canada business strategies and the achievement of Territory financial results and targets.
- Direct the Territory planning process, both long and short-term, to meet current and anticipated financial and market share growth goals.

Executing Business Territory Objectives:

- Manage and direct the activities of the corporate account managers to execute the sales and marketing objectives for the Territory.
- Responsible for the successful management of Territory budget, and expenses to achieve financial targets and performance goals.
- Collaborate with Field and functional resources (e.g. Sourcing Leaders, National Business Development Managers) to identify and implement tactics in support of overall strategy by segment.
- Maintain a strong awareness of National market opportunities and risks.

Talent Acquisition & Development:

- Drive accountability to execute on Territory recruiting targets and ensure alignment with Regional and Corporate talent acquisition objectives.
- In conjunction with Human Resources, drive the effective execution of the Imperial Dade Canada Performance and Talent Management process across all functions within the Territory; conduct monthly one-on-ones with direct reports.
- Provide active leadership to ensure a culture of positive employee relations and a high level of employee performance and engagement.

Managing Results:
Manage Territory overall activities to meet or exceed financial targets and metrics, GTM, working capital, and T& E expenses.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ successful management or supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ successful sales or operations experience preferred.
- Must have a high level of integrity, energy, and leadership capability.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and measure financial metrics required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers at different levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate a team, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment essential.
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills required.
- Effective interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and conflict management skills required.
- Proficient PC skills required.
- University degree or equivalent required.
- Position will require approximately 20% travel to customers, suppliers, and locations within the Canadian market geography.
