**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Operations will be a key leadership team member and together will establish policies that promote company culture and vision.

The VP - Operations will drive operational and procedural excellence, lead strategic decision-making, and guide the day-to-day functions of the Telecom & IT Services departments, and the Project Management office. These departments provide high-quality, responsive technical services to internal and external clients while meeting safety, operational and financial goals.

The goal of the VP-Operations position is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. We expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures to meet company efficiency goals. Identifying cost savings and process improvements.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth that are meaningful in identifying and improving the performance of the Operations group.
- Lead and coach high-performing management staff of Telco & IT departments and PMO, building L10 meeting cadence, professional development, quarterly conversations, setting and assigning quarterly rocks, and championing Sunco Core Values.
- Ensure proper utilization of ConnectWise CRM/Service functionality by all Sunco staff.
- Responsible for operational profit and loss, capital expenditures and operational budgets.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, staying updated on regulatory changes and implementing necessary measures to mitigate risks.
- Oversee Sunco IT infrastructure.
- Aware of competition in the marketplace and works with all departments to ensure Sunco responds appropriately to all changes and opportunities.
- Effective communication between Operations and all departments.
- Work closely with the President on plans, goals and future product/service innovations. Write and submit reports to the President in all matters of importance.
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Facilitates timely issue resolution through solution-focused problem solving; follows up on unresolved issues; accepts advice and counsel.
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Vice President of Operations or relevant role in Telecommunications or related technical/IT industry, minimum 10 years of experience.
- High acumen in Telco and IT Services/MSP Operations business functions.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Expert knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Proficiency in IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
