Position Summary

Ensure that the administrative and technical support of the unit meets or exceeds established quality standards. Coordinate, implement and maintain the administrative processes of the unit in accordance with university policies and procedures. Perform a variety of duties related to the coordination of human resources tasks, related to compensation and position management. Provide information related to policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide high level confidential administrative and human resources support to the Total Compensation team.
- Acts as first point of contact for the HR community regarding Total Compensation requests and provide information related to processes, policies and procedures. Consults relevant documentation and liaises with appropriate resource persons to obtain and provide detailed information on diverse issues. Responds to requests and resolve problems within area of responsibility. Refers complex and sensitive issues to appropriate person.
- Verifies completeness, compliance and accuracy of the information and supporting documents submitted to Total Compensation in Workday and JIRA. Investigates and follows up on discrepancies.
- Distributes and prioritizes to compensation professionals’ requests received in JIRA related to position creations, position rematches, salary adjustments, hiring salary, one-time payments, etc.
- Schedules meetings and contacts participants. Assists with preparation of agenda. Attends meetings, takes minutes and follows up on action items.
- Uses a variety of software. Performs electronic transactions and maintains computerized databases.
- Develops and prepares documents such as templates, checklists, lists and reports.
- Maintains Total Compensation web pages and drafts correspondence.
- Maintains files and records and resolves related problems.
- Work on special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Assists with various requests and performs other related duties as required.
