Job Overview

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative and clerical duties. This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and maintaining HR systems. The HR Coordinator will ensure that all HR processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a positive work environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain and update employee files and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the HR team in handling employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and programs.
- Provide administrative support for performance management and development programs.
- Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related paperwork.
- Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and employment standards.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars for employees.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to support continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS (ADP).
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Have the authorization to work in Canada.
