The HR Generalist will be responsible for coordinating human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, counseling and intervention, terminations and offboarding. They will also be responsible for implementing human resources initiatives and advising employees and the leadership team.
- Provide support to employees and answer internal and external HR questions.
- Assist the HR Director in various HR related projects.
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees and participate in their development.
- Contribute to HR projects and gather employee feedback.
- Maintain relationships with employment agencies.
- Carry out employee orientation, induction and departure procedures.
- Provide training and support to other members of the Human Resources team.
- Plan, organize and execute communication activities (employee letters, meetings, corporate events, etc.). Create new employee files and update existing ones,
- Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports on general HR activity. (Knowledge of ADP is an asset).
- Keep abreast of the latest HR trends and best practices, and collaborate on updating core policies.
- Liaise with HR team to resolve employee issues.
- Work in close collaboration with teams in our Canadian and U.S. offices, such as management and employees, to monitor and improve working relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (required).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of Quebec labor law and employment equity regulations (U.S. is an asset).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures
- Solid experience in the recruitment and hiring process
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and resourceful.
- Known for proactivity, creativity and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Power point, SharePoint and Teams)
