**Position Responsibilities**
- The Donald School of Business, Science and Computing has an on-campus opportunity for a sessional Human Resources Instructor with a broad range of experience to teach any of the courses listed below in the Winter term.
**Winter Term: January 7, 2025 to April 10, 2025**
- HRM 1281D & F**Human Resources Management**
On Campus | Wednesday and Friday | 12:00 - 13:20
On Campus | Tuesday and Thursday | 15:00 - 16:20
Identify and discuss the roles and responsibilities of a human resources department in organizations. Topics include the employment life cycle from planning, hiring, managing, and termination.
HRM 2510 A **Workforce Planning**
On Campus | Tuesday and Thursday | 10:30 -11:50
Recognize workforce planning and talent management as critical elements of an effective human resources management strategy. Focus on the strategic value of designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based workforce planning and talent management.
HRM 3550 A **Employee Engagement**
On Campus | Tuesday and Thursday | 13:00 - 14:20
Examine employee engagement as an organization-wide strategy that impacts achievement of mission-related goals, productivity and profitability. Consider factors that positively and negatively influence employee engagement. Identify the roles of senior leadership, human resources, supervisors and employees in shaping an engaged workforce.
- Please note the contract start dates allow for instructor prep time. The contract end dates allow for grading and submission of final marks.
