**A little about our Human Resources Department**

The Human Resources Department plans, directs, and coordinates all HR management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources through the development and implementation of programs such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation packages, benefit administration, HR policies, health and safety, and by maintaining regulatory compliance.

**Job summary**

As our newest **HR Coordinator**, you will play a crucial role supporting all HR management activities. Your passion for HR and ability to building relationships with staff from different departments will be instrumental in Mothercraft’s goal of promoting healthy child development and supporting families in our community. This is a remote postion with a four month contract, and a high possibility of extension Sound exciting? Here’s a little more

**As a HR Coordinator, you will**
- Conduct onboarding of new staff including letters of offer, creation of personnel files, facilitation of orientation processes, and enrolment into HRIS.
- Coordinate the day-to-day processing of benefit programs including the enrolment of new employees, chanes, terminations, insurance claims and disability.
- Prepare benefit packages and information for new and current employees as requested.
- Maintain the employee file system.
- Assist with the updating of forms, organizational charts, job description as needed.
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety programs including records management and committee meeting minutes.

**You will be set up for success if you have**
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related discipline
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in HR
- Knowledge of HR operation and administration
- Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations and Employment Standards Act
- CHRP designation would be an asset
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check
- Full vaccination with a recognized COVID-19 vaccine
- Strong organizational analytical and interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative writing ability
- Exceptional written and verbal communicatioin skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels
