The Coordinator, Human Resources is a pivotal member of the Human Resources team reporting to the Director, Human Resources. This position is a 12 month contract and is responsible for working collaboratively with the HR Team to support a number of HR functions at the firm. This role would be suitable for a highly organized and service-oriented team player.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources operations at the firm;
- Monitor and manage centralized Human Resources inbox and records employee absences;
- Create and maintain employee files;
- Enter and maintain employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS);
- Maintain organizational charts;
- Provide monthly or ad-hoc reports from HRIS;
- Provide support with preliminary recruitment process (screening resumes; applicant tracking; phone screening; coordinating first in-person/virtual HR interview);
- Coordinate onboarding gifts and maintains inventory;
- Prepare standard Human Resources Letters (i.e. Employment Verification);
- Coordinate employee recognition including service award and other milestone gifts;
- Process expense reports and invoices to ensure accurate coding and approvals;
- Reconcile HR’s monthly Amex expense;
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Human Resources such as calendar management, maintaining organizational charts, coordinating meetings and drafting agendas;
- Work closely with other departments in planning, scheduling, and executing internal and external meetings;
- Create and manage ad-hoc intranet posts; and
- Assist with events and special projects.
- A University degree;
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience;
- HR designation or working towards is an asset;
- Experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is an asset;
- Superior communication, excellent attention to detail;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams) and design software such as Photoshop or Canva is an asset;
- Ability to prioritize and manage a number of short and long-term activities and projects;
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels, facilitate teamwork, work independently and identify opportunities to develop new processes; and
- Excellent client service skills and organization abilities.
