Account Executive

**Camcloud is seeking an Account Executive (AE) to join our Sales team and contribute to our rapid revenue and market share growth.**
This individual will be a key contributor on our Sales Team and be an integral part of Camcloud's New Business Acquisition strategy.

- Video surveillance is a huge market -- and it’s pivoting towards the cloud. On-premise systems are being replaced with modern cloud systems. We have a proven platform and our focus is selling and scaling not trying to find where we fit in the market.
- Our business is growing every year and you will be involved with many interesting video surveillance deployments.
- We are seeking a talented, hard-working sales person who is creative, wants to over-achieve and can effectively multi-task.
**Responsibilities**
- Securing New Business is your main responsibility -- including turning sales qualified leads (SQL) into opportunities and closing deals.
- You will work with the company's management team to identify ideal target verticals, accounts and/or geographies that are ideal for Camcloud's 100% cloud video surveillance solution.
- You will be responsible for your quota but aren't alone There is BDR support, data tools and sales engineering to ensure you are successful.
- Solution selling is important You will need to work with our Channel Team to bring partner services into deals and/or work with technology partners closely to ensure a complete solution for the customer.
- You must be proficient presenting the Camcloud solution to your customers over Zoom, including high-level product demos.
**Required Background & Qualifications**
- University or college degree
- 3-5 years of successful sales background in high tech
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota
- Experience building a territory from the ground-up
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- The company and position is located in Ottawa
- Experience or knowledge of CRM tools preferably Hubspot
**Bonus Points**
- Experience in the the CCTV/video surveillance markets would be an asset
- Proven ability to work on a small sales team and drive over-performance to quota
