**OVERVIEW**:
Golf Canada is looking for a motivated, mission driven individual with excellent communications skills to assist with the national implementation of First Tee, via RBC Community Junior Golf, and Youth on Course. Reporting directly to the Community Relations Manager, the Coordinator, Grow the Game will be responsible for working with First Tee chapter staff, golf courses, community centres, schools and coaches to grow First Tee nationally via RBC Community Junior Golf, as well as Youth on Course programming, helping to contribute to a more diverse junior golf participation base.

**AREAS OF FOCUS**:
**First Tee - Canada** 60%**
- Collaborate with the Community Relations Manager and First Tee Provincial Chapter staff to assist with outreach and onboarding of RBC Community Junior Golf sites, and subsequent community building in and around each market;
- Liaise with RBC to ensure timely and efficient reporting of RBC Community Junior Golf program updates throughout the year;
- Assist with the implementation and delivery of special events such as community activations, try-it sessions, fundraising events and any other initiatives as required;
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to First Tee programming including but not limited to:

- Coordinating packaging, shipping and tracking of First Tee equipment and marketing collateral to new RBC Community Junior Golf program locations across Canada;
- Providing timely and informative customer service to stakeholders including parents, golf professionals, teachers, and youth leaders as needed;
- Coordinate the ordering of marketing collateral, gifting, and supplies as required, specific to RBC Community Junior Golf;
- Assist with data maintenance, tracking, and program reporting;
- Support First Tee - Canada chapter staff with additional duties as they arise.

**Youth on Course** 40%**
- Collaborate with Provincial Associations to onboard Youth on Course facilities;
- Provide customer service to golf facilities and members participating in the Youth on Course program;
- Ensure timely submission and accurate processing of Youth on Course subsidy payments to courses;
- Liaise with Golf Canada Membership team and Youth on Course HQ for any system related concerns;
- Assist with program reporting and data collection;
- Identify and implement new ways to market the Youth on Course program to junior golfers in Canada;
- Support fundraising initiatives by assisting with _100 Hole Hike_ fundraising events.

**REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES**:

- Post Secondary Degree in Sport Business/Management or related field is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of the Canadian Golf industry is considered an asset;
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with interest in impacting youth through sport;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills;
- Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset;
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed.

Golf Canada’s regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of your position may require your hours of work to vary to meet the objectives of your employment. Due to the nature of this position, there may also be some travel required and the need to work some weekends.
