**YOUR ROLE**

As the Manager of Group Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic oversight and guidance to a team of dedicated Supervisors and Client Service Representatives. Your primary responsibility will be to drive impactful results by effectively leading and empowering your team to deliver an exceptional benefits experience. You will be tasked with upholding the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that both our clients and advisor partners receive a level of service that exceeds their expectations.

**YOUR IMPACT**
- You will support the team through successful change management.
- You will lead, mentor and coach Supervisors and Client Service Representatives to strong performance based results including but not limited to NPS, Retention and added Benefit Opportunities.
- You will provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to nurture and bridge culture across teams and drive client retention.
- You will support the growth and professional development of team members.
- You will correspond and be point of contact for problem resolution for clients, insurers and partners on escalated matters and support strong execution of out retention strategy.
- You will liaise with internal and external teams to accelerate resolution of escalated matters and support strong renewal execution.
- You will provide recommendations and make supported decisions on escalated matters using a risk-based approach.
- You will ensure adherence to processes, administrative guidelines and SLA’s.
- You will develop and maintain key metric reporting (KPIs) that pertains to the department deliverables and performance.
- You will prioritize and oversee delivery of process improvement ideas, projects, campaigns and ongoing training for the team, in collaboration with your leader.
- You will influence and collaborate with other Client Services Leaders, Executives and stakeholders to improve processes and drive performance.
- You will you will maintain and upgrade workforce planning tool, which will allow you to make informed recommendations on current and future staffing needs.
- You will strategize with peers and leadership to increase performance.
- You will conduct annual reviews (and 90-day reviews for new hires).
- You will perform other duties as assigned by management.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
- First 90 Days_
- You will engage in 1-on-1 meetings with direct reports to understand a day in their life.
- You will meet with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand how departments interact on a day to day as it pertains to your role.
- You will review and understand department goals, strategy and KPI's.
- You will review and understand multicarrier eligibility guidelines.
- You will review of training material and resources as it pertains to systems (CRM; WEBS and MPACS) and processes.
- First 6 Months_
- You will develop your leadership brand with direct reports and Client Services Management team.
- You will support the growth and professional development of direct reports through coaching.
- You will support the team through resolution of escalated matters by providing recommendations and making supported decisions using a risk-based approach.
- You will develop and build relationships with all stakeholders (Partners, insurers, providers, clients).
- You will have a solid understanding of client service expectations.
- You will have a working understanding of each GroupHEALTH benefit and product offering.
- You will provide key metric reporting that pertains to the department deliverables and performance.
- First Year_
- You will mentor direct reports in development and growth and will lead them successfully through change.
- You will prioritize and oversee delivery of process improvement ideas, projects, campaigns and ongoing training for the team.
- You will participate in workforce planning and present recommendations for staffing needs.
- You will work with other departments to bridge culture across teams, increase cross departmental efficiency and ensure optimal client retention.

**THIS IS YOU**
- You have 3-5 years' of related group benefits experience preferably with a focus on group benefits administration.
- You have previous experience with Underwriting.
- You have 1-2 years' leading Supervisors, Team Leads and and Individual Contributors.
- You have experience developing KPI’s and driving Performance for sustained results, and leading a high
