**Job Summary**
- The Registrar’s Office (RO) is a large, multi-unit, multi-site operation involved in the entire academic experience of Dalhousie students, from recruitment and admissions through to convocation and beyond. Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Awards and Financial Aid, the Administrative Assistant, Awards is responsible for supporting the Assistant Registrars of Financial Aid and Awards in the administration of Dalhousie University’s undergraduate awards programs. The Administrative Assistant will also support the administration of Canadian and International Student Loan programs. These tasks require a high level of detail in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support for the undergraduate awards program including accurate award posting and disbursement within Banner Production, processing supporting documents, collecting award appeals, and creation and maintenance of all undergraduate aid fund codes within Banner.
- Provide administrative support for the Student Loans and external Educational Funding programs including accurate posting within Banner Production of student loan information, ongoing confirmation of student registration for US and Canadian student loans, and assessing and completing complex documentation.
- Provide communication support for the Assistant Registrars.

**Note**
The successful applicant will primarily work remotely, with occasional presence in-person on-campus to meet client needs and operation requirements.

**Required Qualifications**
- Business/Office Administration diploma with at least three to five years’ experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrate a strong capacity for problem-solving and critical thinking.

**Assets**
- Experience within a Registrar’s Office.
- Knowledge of the Ellucian Banner system.
