The incumbent provides administrative support to a team in the Pension Administration and Consulting practice areas in the Halifax Office (In House), no remote work.

**Responsibilities**:
- Advanced skills with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of Adobe/PDF Exchange functionality is an asset- Data entry on various systems including -in house pension administration system and excel worksheets- Performs mail merges for mass mailings to clients, coordinates the print and mailing process of same, as well as outsourcing where necessary- Provides general administration, including faxing, time tracking, client database updates, scanning, photocopying opening mail, answering phone and filing- Preparation of monthly client billings- Supports other administrative assistants when required- Assists with special projects, as required- Performs other administrative tasks, as required

**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education minimum 5 years experience- Advanced skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint- WorkDay an asset- Basic knowledge of pension, benefits and investment terms and concepts- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Exceptional customer focus and telephone skills and protocol- Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence- Excellent organizational skills; pay close attention to detail and ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
