Job Overview
The Data Operations team is responsible for supporting both internal and external customer groups with BC Assessment products and services. We develop, promote and deliver valuable property assessment information solutions that achieve BCA relevance and revenue targets including customer awareness, customer engagement and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Senior Customer Relationship Analyst, the Product Support Analyst role primarily assists customers by delivering services, understanding and responding to user requirements, and recommending changes to processes and systems in response to customer needs.
We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and has exceptional customer service skills. You must have the ability to respond well to tight timelines and multiple requests at the same time. You need to have excellent attention to detail, strong grammar and vocabulary as well as an ability to anticipate customer and organizational needs to adapt to changing requirements. Most importantly, you are a team player with a great personality, who sees the strength in working together as one cohesive unit to deliver results.
Key Accountabilities-
- Develop new reports for customers, analyzing business needs and data availability; ensuring compliance to contractual, FOI and legislative requirements.- Participate in initiatives to develop new or amended property information products or services including analyzing the potential impact, evaluating options and presenting recommendations to ensure compatibility with organization goals and objectives.- Analyzes impact of enhancements or developments of products/services on the organization; and submits for review to more senior Product Analyst.- Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and recommends improvements to these processes and systems.- Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements.- Conduct testing and verification of assessment notices, assessment rolls and other core products and services.
This position is included in the bargaining unit. BC Assessment may establish an eligibility list for this competition.- Location: Victoria, BC - Uptown- Compensation: $59,231.16 - $69,593.72**Qualifications**:
Education- Undergraduate degree in information management, commerce, business administration, public administration or equivalent.- Courses or training in business analysis.- Courses or training in customer relationship management an asset.
