We are a small accounting firm located in the heart of Sooke. We are currently seeking a part-time office assistant (20 hrs/week) for our busy tax season (February to April 28) with the possibility of permanent part-time.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

- Maintaining and updating client files and records
- Greeting clients and answering phone calls, taking messages and redirecting calls
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
- Using office equipment (fax machine, printer, photocopier and computer)
- Arranging appointments and managing calendars
- Ordering office supplies and minor office space maintenance (vacuuming, cleaning desk, etc.)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-01-30
