About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Forbes Pharmacy Sooke Inc. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of medications and prescription records.
  • Ordering and Receiving: Order and receive supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Excel and MS Office to maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to security and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
