**Some of what you will do**
The Account Specialist (AS) is charged with providing holistic transactional print & promo sales service to customers. The AS will respond to referrals from multiple sales channels and respond to new business opportunities with a sense of urgency and with the goal of maximizing sales opportunities. The account Specialist will manage a national portfolio of customers that is aligned within their sales channel. Periodically, the AS will transition high value/high potential customers to AC’s, AM’s, SAM’s in order to drive overall customer productivity. Likewise, the AS will help transition moderate spenders from the outside sales channel and assume day-to-day management of those accounts in order to maintain continuity for our customers.
**Specifically, You Will**
- Directly interact with customers to provide suggestions on products and services to turn the customers goals into reality.
- Advise & promote customers (new/returning) of other offers and new lines of business & business services
- Partnering with vendors, customers, and retail stores for updates, follow-ups, and questions regarding projects.
- Be an expert with limited assortment of product and services; ability to identify and recommend referral opportunities with customers to other services or sales teams.
- Reconnect and follow up with customers to solicit feedback on sales; promote additional products and services that create value.
- Meet and exceed sales & margin goals
- Execute selling strategies and goals that maximize sales conversion and average order value
**Some of what you need**

- Analytic & Problem-solving skills
- Communication & presentation skills
- Financial acumen to deliver on business goals
- 2-3 years of customer service experience required
- 1+ years sales experience strongly preferred
- Post-Secondary education in related field (sales, marketing or business administration)
Being bilingual is an asset-Communication may be required with Staples head office associates or customers who reside outside of Quebec.
