**ABOUT THE JOB**

Reporting to the Director, Recovery and Integration, the Clinical Program Lead is responsible for managing the program service delivery for Links to Employment, across multiple sites in British Columbia. This includes two significant projects, based in designated Primary Care Centres and Bed Based Treatment and Recovery centers. The Clinical Project Lead supports program development, delivery, implementation, ensuring best practices of service delivery and clinical support at all sites. The Clinical Project Lead will work closely with the Operations Project Lead and the Director, to oversee the successful implementation of Links to Employment provincially.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work in partnership with Regional Health Authorities, people with lived experience, and other stake holders to support program integration and delivery.
- Provides input into clinical framework and assists with development of the evidence-based service model to be rolled out in various communities in British Columbia.
- Provides support with program implementation and operationalizing the service model at the designated Primary Care Centres and Recovery Bed Treatment Centres.
- Provides input and support into development of workflow, staffing model, hiring and training.
- Provides ongoing oversight to ensure that service delivery is aligned with best practices in psychosocial rehabilitation and contract deliverables.
- Serve as a clinical resource to Occupational Therapist and Vocational Counsellor staff, other community stakeholders and partners, for all sites and services.
- Ensures ongoing clinical support to staff regarding individual service plan development and service delivery.
- Specifically, provides Occupational Therapy lens and expertise to support the delivery of model of care as per contracts.
- Supports development of tools and resources for Links to Employment staff, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
- Ensures that program promotional materials are produced and distributed.
- Supports and participates in in-services, committees, rehabilitation team meetings, and research activities, as required by CMHA, and collegially shares information, and provides guidance on clinical/health related topics or issues.
- Planned project portfolio includes but is not limited to:
Clinical support and oversight for:
Links to Employment program located in four BC communities.
- Up to 15 staff

Links to Employment program located in approximately six Bed-Based Treatment and Recovery Centres in various locations in BC.
- Up to 7 staff
- Provide both verbal and written communication regarding project status, updates, and outcomes.
- Supports: Up to 9 clinical staff (Occupational Therapists) & 13 non-clinical staff (Vocational Counsellors and Peer Support Workers).
- Supports with clinical oversight and supervision, staff hiring and training, and ongoing support.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Education and Experience**:

- Masters in occupational therapy from a recognized program and minimum of five-year satisfactory experience in a psychiatric and/or substance use setting.
- Leadership or coordination experience in a mental health-oriented setting.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
- Experience in working within performance-based contracts, and an understanding of the principles and practices of contract management.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Considerable understanding of occupational therapy principles, specifically expertise in supported employment and mental health interventions and best practices
- Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) principles and techniques
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills including program planning to ensure the project achieves its goals and objectives, and being an effective communicator and leader for successful project delivery
- Overall project and program management skills with a commitment to high standards of quality.
- Knowledge of risk management, along with resourcefulness and innovation to solve problems.
- Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in an environment with constantly changing conditions and competing deadlines and to work under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Familiarity with the mental health and substance use service delivery systems and approaches in BC.
- Knowledge of and/or work experience in the substance use treatment sector in BC.
- Sound knowledge of principles of health equity, mental health and wellness, and
