Programs

**SCOPE OF POSITION**
Nurse Practitioner Provincial Initiatives and Programs (AC, NP-PIP), provides administrative support to the NP-PIP team, including the Executive Director, Director of Program Delivery,
Director of Regional Leadership Program and NP Regional Leads as well as coordination of administration duties and virtual office procedures. This role requires maintaining a high level of program effectiveness and communication. The NP-PIP is grounded in facilitating successful integration of NPs into the Primary Care Networks (PCN) and supporting the
Ministry of Health’s primary health care strategy.

**Administrative Responsibilities**
- Performs day to day administrative/clerical duties for the NP-PIP team, including administrative support and calendar management for the NP Regional Leads.
- Enhances current administrative processes for use by NP-PIP and Regional Leadership Team. This includes electronic filing systems, reporting templates, team procedures, management of SharePoint, Microsoft teams, Zoom, Excel spreadsheets, and material/documentation updates, etc.
- Arranges travel, accommodations, and other associated expenses for Executive Director, Director of Program Delivery, Director of Regional Leadership Program,Program Admin Manager, and members of the NP-PIP team.Coordinates meetings associated with NP-PIP team members, including booking of rooms or zoom call, calendar management, compiling agenda items, taking/processing minutes, generating and distribution of meeting materials, arranging catering if required, etc.

The above responsibilities are not to be considered all-inclusive; other duties in the interest of efficient operations of the NP Provincial Initiatives and Programs team may be assigned.**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

**Education**
- Post-secondary education in related field such as office or business administration an asset
- Prior experience within a Health Care setting an asset

**Experience**
- Minimum of 3-5 years recent related experience
- Communications lens/background
- Experience with Ministry/government relations, general understanding of political landscape in BC
- Experience coordinating, facilitating, and organizing meetings, including calendar management, compiling meeting materials such as agendas, minutes, and associated administrative tasks to support effective team functioning

**Competencies**
- Considered to be tech savvy and has an “I can figure this out” attitude when it comes to troubleshooting tech issues.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills; able to prioritize, plan, organize workloads, and manage role expectations and dedication to completing work in a timely and proficient manner.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
