Job Title: Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at SPEEEL. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and development
  • Maintain daycare equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and updates
  • Support early childhood educators in planning and executing programs
  • Lead activities and engage children in creative play and learning
  • Assist with record-keeping and administrative tasks
  • Encourage children to express themselves through art, music, and physical activity
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience in childcare or a related field (an asset)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
