Job Title: Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at SPEEEL. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and development
  • Maintain daycare equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs and activities
  • Lead activities and engage children in learning experiences
  • Assist with record-keeping and administrative tasks
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting is an asset
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
