**Job Description**:
What you’ll be doing

As a member of the strategic partnership team you will work closely with the senior marketing leads, line of business, external and agency partners to support execution of direct and mass marketing initiatives aimed at driving new client acquisition and engagement. The Manager, Marketing Communications will be responsible for ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered with executional excellence and with a prime focus on client experience and fostering collaborative working relationships.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed- Project Management - You will act as a key point of contact for the assigned initiatives and see projects from planning to QA and execution. You will support the creative process in a large, multi-level matrix organization with several layers for approvals.- Creative Development and Measurement - You will contribute to the planning and implementation, including the creative development of marketing communications initiatives and projects for credit card strategic partnerships. You will also collaborate with your team, business partners and channel partners to build successful marketing campaigns to generate desired business results and impact.- Communication and Relationship Management - You will build and develop relationships with key business contacts, channel partners and agencies to become true partner to the business.- Passion - You will prove your marketing focus and passion by demonstrating strategic ideas that will enable CIBC’s credit card products to stand out in today’s marketing/digital and competitive landscape.
