**Description**
- The Office and Accounting Administrator role completes tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the office and accounting department.
- The role is Monday - Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, in office.
- Role will report directly to the Controller

**Common Roles and Responsibilities**
- Full Cycle Accounts Payable
- Preparing and coding vendor invoices for management approvals
- Matching packing slips to invoices
- Processing and printing cheque payments
- Reconciling month end statements
- Recording credit card transactions and reconciling statements
- Payroll
- Tracking and processing employee timecards
- Allocating hours to appropriate job’s and phases
- Processing bi-weekly payroll
- Other Tasks
- Assist with month end and year end tasks
- Accounting for equipment usage
- Administering employee benefits
- General office administrative duties

**Required Skill Set**
- Organized and good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and brings a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, relevant certification related to bookkeeping or accounting (preferred)
- Payroll and Accounts Payable experience (preferred)
- Data entry experience (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Vista Viewpoint and/or Heavy Job experience is a bonus
