**Position**: Accounting Administrator

**Location**: Vancouver, BC

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Match packing/receiving slips, temp labour tickets, and timesheets to AP invoices
- Update temp labour log, concrete log, and PO log
- Code AP invoices for approval, and then enter into Timberline
- Assist in preparation of month end Application for Payment to Owner
- Update and maintain all trade contractor information into software (Contact, WCB, Insurance)
- Adhere to proper internal controls and contribute new ideas for improvement
- Daily interaction with suppliers, trade contractors, project accountants and site project team
- Update office records and databases that contain personnel, financial, and office data
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Track and coordinate shipments
- Assist in logistics and customs clearance
- Track and update company equipment, tools, and construction material inventory record
- Book flights and arrange travel for company executives
- Photocopying, filing, preparing, organizing and maintaining accounting/contract/office records
- Provide other administrative support as required

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of two years experience in accounting and administrative work
- Post secondary diploma/degree in accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to adapt to multiple demands, set priorities and achieve results
- Analytical thinker and ability to readily grasp new concepts
- Experience in accounts payable and understanding of project costing
- Experience using Sage Timberline Accounting is a definite asset

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
